The Branch In 1852, the Montreal and Quebec City Curling Clubs sought affiliation with the Royal Caledonian Curling Club and hence the "Branch" was born. Today it is a committee of Curling Quebec and oversees "Intermediate" competitions between Quebec and Eastern Ontario. The Branch is divided into five districts: District 2 includes all of the OVCA Curling Clubs in Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais. The remaining 4 districts are located in the province of Quebec, outside the Outaouais region. Daniel Cook of Prescott, is Branch President for the 2010-11 season. |
