| Curling Clubs are open to
all, and offer instruction to new curlers to learn the game and
to more experienced curlers to improve skills and strategy.
Rookie Leagues Leagues for brand new curlers are held at Ottawa Curling Club, on Tuesday evenings or Sundays, City View Curling Club on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and Granite Curling Club on Sundays. You can join anytime, and receive instruction and play the game. Novice Clinics Provide new curlers, or those who want to improve their skills, with the basic skills of how to curl. Sessions include game orientation, slide delivery, grips, turns, line of delivery and brushing. Contact any curling club to find out when their novice clinics are held. Intermediate Clinics Provide the intermediate curler with analysis of delivery and skill improvement, ice reading, brushing calls and strategy.
