Event Type: The Governor Generals competition is a double team event based on cumulative points.

History: First played in 1874 with games lasting 21 ends.

Eligibility: The two teams must be members of the same club and be affiliated with the Canadian Branch.

Team Registration: $220 per double rink entry from affiliated clubs with a limit of one entry per club.

$250 per team entry from non affiliated clubs.
