Hogline is selling 1400 thread count sheets, and contributing the profits to the Little Rock Championship. Curling Clan of Avonlea, Saskatchewan, died peacefully on
December 30th in Okotoks, Alberta, 12 days before his 85th
birthday. Branch Governor Generals Kelly Oka (Matt Camm throwing 4th stone) and Ken Reilly of Navan won the District 2 final of the Governor Generals at Richmond Curling Club. See the draw here. They play in the championship final against Quebec on Saturday February 11 at Navy Curling Club. Game time is 1 pm. Killaloe Joins OVCA A very warm welcome to Killaloe Curling Club, who have recently joined the OVCA. The club, established in 1972, serves the towns of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards. Curling club well on its way to owning facility, trade show planned for new year EMC News - Fundraising efforts at the Arnprior Curling Club are ramping up as the membership prepares to take ownership of the facility in the New Year. The club must raise $100,000 for a down payment by the June 1, 2012 closing date. Club president Sandra Tait remains optimistic.
