2010 55+ Canada Games

This year, the 55+ games took place in Brockville, with the curling being held in Gananoque. The Men's 55+ gold medal was won by Frank Van Ryckegham from Manotick, with Ron Barker, Dale Campbell and Bob Bartlett. Check out the results here.

Elwyn Macdonald

Elwyn Macdonald died at the age of 97 on Tuesday August 24. He was President of the OVCA in 1980, President of the Ottawa Curling Club in 1972 and was a member Emeritus of the Governor Generals Curling Club. Funeral arrangements are in the Ottawa Citizen.

OVCA Annual General Meeting and Presidents' Dinner

There is a change of venue for the OVCA AGM and Presidents' Dinner. It will now be held at the Ottawa Curling Club on Monday September 20th. The agenda, reports, financial statements etc. will be posted here in early September. Contact Art Olson for more information.

JSI OVCA Junior Superspiel Teams

The list of confirmed teams for the Junior Superspiel is now posted here. This event takes place November 5-7 at area clubs.
