Hosting Grants
The OVCA Hosting Grant is to encourage member clubs to host final provincial competitions or national competitions, or to host a development clinic presented by a Provincial Sporting Organization (PSO).

The OVCA provides a financial grant up to $1000 per event. For clinics, the OVCA will provide funding at the following rates:

​Under 6 participants: $50

6-10 participants: $75
-
10+ participants: $100
Requirements
For hosting a provincial, national, or international competition:​

A provincial event MUST be the immediately preceding step to a Curling Canada-sanctioned national final event as listed on their official website for that season. National or international competitions must be an official Curling Canada or World Curling Federation event.

The host club(s) must be a member in good standing with the OVCA.

A sponsorship prospectus must be included with the online application.

The host committee/club must have a support structure in place to manage the event.

The host committee/club will ensure OVCA visibility at all events leading up to and during the event, commiserate with the financial level of sponsorship provided by the OVCA. Logos and other marketing collateral will be provided by the OVCA. The grant will need to be approved far enough in advance to allow for appropriate visibility, but will be guided by the governing body hosting the event

The OVCA has funds available at the time of application.

For hosting a development clinic presented by a Provincial Sports Organization (PSO):

Where a PSO provides a hosting grant for these courses, the host club will still be eligible for this grant.

The workshop must be a "training" workshop of the following type: Adult Learn-to-Curl, Coach (any level), Ice Technician (any level) or Officiating.
